Bundlr - storing data on blockchain
Bundlr Network is a decentralized platform that makes it fast and easy to store data on web3. Bundlr is building the future of data storage by bringing the speed and ease of web2 to web3. Today, most data is stored on centralized servers that are owned by a singular entity which presents many security and manipulation risks. Bundlr solves this by offering a fast, multichain solution for users to store on Arweave, the only permanent and decentralized data storage platform that makes it near impossible to alter, censor, or hack data. Arweave is a software that seeks to store files permanently across a distributed network of computers.
When a user uploads data to Bundlr, they receive a receipt that promises that their transaction will be uploaded to Arweave within a few hours. That receipt is signed by three validators, which signals that they are all aware of the transaction and will ensure that it will move from Bundlr to Arweave. Now that the three validators are tracking the transaction, they will wait for it to move from Bundlr, onto Arweave. When the data is uploaded to Arweave, the validators will confirm that the transaction has been completed.
Bundlr increases the number of transactions conducted on Arweave by 4,000% without sacrificing security or usability and is around ~3,000x faster at uploading data. Bundlr currently accounts for over 90% of data uploaded to Arweave. It enables infinite scalability and enables instant and guaranteed transaction finality. It is a multichain solution and is compatible with leading blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, and many more. Bundlr enables the user to have instant access to their data and also allows users to pay for data uploads in any major token.
Josh Benaron is the CEO and founder of Bundlr. Bundlr has raised a total of $5.2M in funding.
