Nerdystar - next evolution of gaming
Nerdystar’s main goal is to allow players to earn ownership of games they’re playing; while enhancing the rights of gamers as providers, players, as well as traders within the ecosystem. The company’s blockchain-based game platform, LUXON, aims to accelerate the Web3 transition by publishing high-quality blockchain games in a sustainable ecosystem.
With insights and experience gained from more than ten years of expertise in the game industry, engaging gameplay is not an afterthought at Nerdystar. Their focus is to allure the audience of conventional gaming to have extra ownership and they will not be required to sacrifice the quality of the game.
While being a new company in the Web3 space, Nerdystar has members with over 10 years of experience in the game industry in key positions. The company develops and publishes Web3 games on Luxon, its blockchain gaming platform and aims to redefine ownership of the game. Games on LUXON will be based on LINE Games' popular IPs first, allowing Nerdystar to bring high-quality games to Web3 quickly. In the future, the platform will also open up to any third-party games that demonstrate success in their original IPs.
Luxon’s first game, Desperado B218: The Scars of Exos, will see gameplay centered on NFTs. Players will be able to acquire assets from the publisher and in a dedicated marketplace where Luxon token users can purchase or trade the game’s NFT items. The player’s in-game activities generate these items. If the user is interested in investments and trades, NFT items that could contribute to the game economy will be provided. If the user is more down to playing games, an NFT item that could boost their gameplay will be provided.
Alan Huh is the CEO of Nerdy Star. Nerdy Star has raised a total of $10.8M in funding.
